Last time we wrote about the amazing Sir Patrick Stewart, he had taken in a lovely foster pitbull named Ginger when he was promoting the film Logan with Hugh Jackman. His wife Sunny Ozell and him fell in love with Ginger right away. He said after not owning a dog in 50 years, Ginger really changed his outlook on dogs and life.

We all love Claire Foy and Matt Smith but if The Crown were to replace them with fuzzy, short-legged doggo’s we would be 100% fine with it. In a stroke of genius, Netflix re-created an all-too-short clip of an intense episode with Queen Elizabeth (Claire Foy) and Prince Phillip (Matt Smith) but replaced the human actors with… corgis.

All eyes weren’t on Claire Foy or even Gillian Anderson at The Crown’s Season 2 premiere. Don’t get us wrong, the stars looked gorgeous strutting the red carpet. They happily gave up their spotlight to the two hairy babes wiggling their way past the paparazzi.

The 2017 Emmy Awards had it’s tense moments – from Stephen Colbert using Donald Trump as his personal comedic punching bag to Donald Glover addressing racial tensions in his acceptance speech. Even Dolly Parton, Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin had something to say about the current state of affairs in the USA. But, the awards ceremony wasn’t completely focused on heavy political issues.

The power of a room full of puppies had it’s effect on Liev Schreiber last week. The British-born Australian actor unexpectedly walked away from an interview on Live with Kelly and Ryan with two new family members. Sitting backstage at the ABC show, Schreiber realized he was in a situation that most of us dream about: a room full of adorable puppies, just waiting to be adopted.
